The Fundamentals Evaluation is an optional step where you demonstrate your understanding of the material you’ve learned.
It is designed to help confirm your foundation and prepare you for continued training.
Is the evaluation required?
No.
The evaluation is optional and is recommended for students who want recognition of their progress and a pathway to continue within the PMAA system.
Is there a fee for the evaluation?
No.
The Fundamentals Evaluation is included as part of your training experience.
What do I receive after passing the evaluation?
Students who successfully pass the evaluation may receive an:

This certificate recognizes your understanding and completion of the fundamental material and core components of Filipino Martial Arts, including footwork, single stick, double stick, and knife fundamentals.
Is the completion certificate the same as rank?
No.
The completion certificate recognizes that you have completed the Fundamentals Course and understand the foundational components of the system.
Official rank advancement takes place later within the PMAA system.
What happens after I pass the evaluation?
After passing the evaluation, you may choose to continue your training as a:
