Grandmaster Julius Melegrito has dedicated his life to helping people grow through martial arts. Originally from the Philippines and now based in the United States, he has spent more than three decades teaching, mentoring, developing instructors, building successful martial arts programs, and promoting the positive impact martial arts can have on individuals, families, and communities. While his accomplishments, recognitions, and leadership positions have been significant milestones throughout his journey, Grandmaster Melegrito believes his greatest achievement is the opportunity to positively impact the lives of others through martial arts.
A LIFELONG JOURNEY
From an early age, Grandmaster Melegrito developed a deep appreciation for martial arts and the values they represent discipline, respect, perseverance, leadership, personal responsibility, and continuous growth. His journey eventually led him to explore and train in multiple martial arts systems while maintaining a special passion for Filipino Martial Arts and the rich traditions, culture, and knowledge they represent. Over the years, he has devoted countless hours to studying, teaching, preserving, and sharing martial arts while continually seeking ways to make training more effective, accessible, and impactful for future generations.
